Product Description
Key Advantages of 20mm High‑Torque Spur Gear Brushed DC Motor
This series is larger than the 16mm gear motor we supply. This high‑torque gear motor adopts a brushed DC electric motor paired with a spur gearbox. Compared with brushless DC motors, brushed motors achieve high energy efficiency of 80‑90% and deliver reliable control performance with linear characteristic curves. More importantly, they come with lower cost. Meanwhile, spur gears are easier to manufacture and provide stable transmission ratios compared with planetary gear motors. This compact 12V gear motor design achieves improved overall efficiency and relatively low‑noise operation.
