As for the purpose of the electric valve actuator, it is actually to convert the rotary motion of the motor into the operation (linear operation/rotary operation) we need to achieve the operation of the electric actuator.

The basic actuator is used to drive the valve to the fully open or closed position. The actuator used to control the valve can accurately move the valve to any position. Although most actuators are used to open and close valves, the design of actuators nowadays is far beyond the simple switching function. It include torque sensing device,position sensing device, , electrode protection device, logic control device, digital communication module and PID control module, and all of these devices are installed in a compact housing.

The electric valve actuator is the driving device for various electric valves in the rotary control system. It is used to control the opening and closing of valves. It is applicable to the valves with equal angular travel used in ball valve,butterfly valve and damper. It could act accurately according to the control instructions. It is the driving device for remote control, centralized control and automatic control of valves.
